I like this photo because it looks very peaceful and calming. It looks like a beautiful place before the storm. I can only imagine going there in real life!
I like this photo because it doesn't seem like it could be a photo that was taken, very sureal! It looks really 3D. It just captured my eye more than others. I also like how it shows the light and realness of it.
I liked this photo because it gave me a sense of curiousity becaause at first I couldn't exactly tell what it was, then after i started to depict the vase. I like how its like a fish bowl effect.
Taken in new york. I wanted to chose this photo because it was a photograph that was a had to be at the right moment kind of thing. It looks really cool with all the lights and how its transparent.
110th Street & Fifth Avenue. It was in 2993 when this picture was aken. It’s an early work by graffiti artist James De La Vega. That Dave found inspirational, and can be found all over New York. I liked this photo because as scratched up as it is, I like the quote. You can interpit it anyways you please, but its nice to see things up like that around the city.
This was taken in Atlantic city, not to long after Tupac died.
I find this photo kind of inspirational and antique. It very worn out just like the city.

I liked this photo cause i feel like graffiti is a way to express yourself and show who you truly are and how ya feel.
Biography Of Dave Beckerman:
Dave was born in 1953, in the Bronx! He was first introduced to photography at the age of 15 at his community centre. Were he got his first darkroom. Like anyone Dave has worked at many places, from being a cab driver or a screenplay writer. After working in filmaking for 10 years or so he was compelled to try and make a living out of photography. He has been doing photography professionally for about 30 years. Dave never took any classes for his black and white photography, it was mostly trial and error. For his color photography he was what you called a "late bloomer." He only started a few years ago. He used lightroom as a catalog, NIK Software for processing, and of course photoshop.
For his equipment Dave used everything from large format view cameras to a phone camera. He also uses a Canon cropped sensor DSLR.
